On 1 April 2020, NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) was established. The new CCG is made up of the previous six south east London CCGs in Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Information that has been held previously by those six CCGs transferred to the new CCG on 1 April 2020. The new CCG will become the new controller for the data held by the superseded organisations. What do health visitors do?

Bexley's health visiting team provides support to children under five and their families.

The service is provided by Bromley Healthcare and consists of mixed teams of healthcare assistants, nurses and health visitors who deliver the child health promotion programme to all families in Bexley.

How can health visitors help you?

Health visitors make home visits to parents with new-born babies and can can offer support for:

  • sleep problems
  • breastfeeding
  • domestic violence
  • behaviour management
  • mental health issues and
  • immunisations
