Commitment to Accessibility

NHS England has set out key requirements for all NHS organisations with regards to accessible information within the Accessible Information Standard (AIS).  You can find out what NHS England says about accessibility here.

NHS Bexley CCG is committed to maintaining and improving the accessibility of the information we produce, which must be easy to use and understand.  Whilst we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third party websites or content that we may link to, if you experience any difficulty in accessing CCG information or our website, please contact us.

Printed materials in other formats

We strive to ensure that everyone can access information about the CCG and opportunities to get involved.  We can provide information in other languages, easy read and arrange for an interpreter or signer to be available at meetings to support everyone to participate.

If you would like any information available on this website in other languages or formats such as easy read or large print then please contact us at Bexccg.contactus@nhs.net or call 0800 328 9712 and we will do our best to assist you.

Accessing information on our website

We have added digital inclusion software called Browsealoud to our website – this makes information more accessible and is free to use.  Click on the Browsealoud image that appears in the top right of your screen to launch the support toolbar.  Then simply click on any text to hear it read out loud.

Browsealoud offers reading support - helping you to access and understand our website better.

  • Text-to-speech; click on or select any text to hear it read aloud
  • Text magnification: enlarges text and reads it out loud
  • Mp3 generation: converts selected text into an MP3 audio file
  • Screen mask: blocks distractions on screen with a tinted mask
  • Web page simplifier: removes clutter from the screen
  • Settings: customise options to suit individual needs or preferences
