On 1 April 2020, NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) was established. The new CCG is made up of the previous six south east London CCGs in Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Information that has been held previously by those six CCGs transferred to the new CCG on 1 April 2020. The new CCG will become the new controller for the data held by the superseded organisations. If you have any further questions about the use of data by NHS SEL CCG, please contact

Provider sanctions

In line with NHS England requirements on openness and transparency, NHS Bexley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) now publishes, every three months, the details of contract sanctions levied in line with the national contract terms for breaches of national standards, as set out in its contracts with them.

Data is available for quarter four of 2014/15 onwards. Download the reports from the left-hand menu. Information will be added quarterly with details of the previous quarter’s sanctions.

NHS Bexley CCG’s approach is to assist providers as much as possible where there are performance issues, whilst making sure that the quality of services can be maintained. Where there are breaches of national standards, the fines may be reinvested with the provider to support the improvement of services in line with an agreed improvement plan.
