What's Involved

Be involved as much or as little as you like

Your Health Matters gives you the chance to play your part and share your views, knowledge and opinions. The level of involvement is totally up to you. You may just like to receive updates on local health issues, or you may want to participate in our surveys and attend events.

If you become a member of Your Health Matters we will:

  • Send you a welcome pack, including your membership card
  • Send you information about health initiatives in the borough
  • Send you information about healthy living
  • Invite you to come along to events, activities, focus groups, board meetings and workshops
  • Ask your opinion on some of the projects we are developing
  • Invite you to complete surveys about health services in Bexley
  • Tell you about volunteering opportunities
  • Send you copies of some of our key publications such as our community magazine
    Healthy Bexley
  • Send you health-related information and offers from partner organisations such as Bexley Council and Parkwood Leisure.

Interested in specific areas of health?
If you have a particular health interest, for example, cardiology, smoking cessation or diabetes, then we can keep you involved in the services that matter to you.

What will Bexley Care Trust do with my comments?
Your comments and views on health services will be fed into the decision making process to make sure that new services and initiatives consider the views of patients and local people, resulting in a better health service for you and your family. Joining Your Health Matters means that you have a voice and your voice will be heard!

Membership is completely free and you can cancel your membership at any
time by emailing us or writing to us at Bexley Care Trust.
